Hello to anyone who is suffering from a migraine headache and to all others who are curious about the topic that I am about to write about.
While there are many reasons why one would end up suffering from a migraine headache, many more of them than are presently recognized have a rather large if not complete psychological component.
This fact became self-evident to me, when I was reading a book called, --- Clouds of Glory. The book actually is an autobiography of General Robert E. Lee but the story of Ulysses Grant and his migraine headaches represented the deciding factors for me in favor of the psychological origination of many migraine headaches.
In the hard copy edition of the previously named book, on page 662 we have Grant suffering from a massive migraine headache. It was brought on by his awesome responsibility and the loss of life that was occurring as he tried to convince General Lee of the hopelessness of inflicting further casualties on both sides of the civil war.
After a certain amount of delay, General Lee finally indicated that he was willing to accept the terms of surrender outlined by Ulysses Grant. At the moment that Grant received this dispatched letter he stated that his horrible migraine headache immediately disappeared.
It becomes obvious that one should exhaust every possibility to find a physical cause for one's headacahe and if that attitude fails to find a cause, then a psychological one should be checked out also.
